Assessment of gender mainstreaming among managers of universities in Osun state, Nigeria

The study assessed gender-sensitive awareness of managers to committee membership, recruitment and promotion. It also comparedthe level gender mainstreaming in the management public private universities Osun state. reseach design adopted wasdescriptive research design. population comprised all 357 (Principal Officers, Deans Facultiesand Heads Departments) sample consisted 113 respondents drawn from themanagers State. Purposive sampling technique was employed selecting three State, whichwere Obafcmi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, representing federal university, State Osogbo, state BowenUniversity, Iwo, universities.
